A quick and flavorful flatbread topped with tender BBQ chicken, melted cheese, and fresh toppings, baked to crispy perfection.

Ingredients

2 flatbreads (9–10 inches / 23–25 cm)
1 ½ cups (225 g) cooked shredded chicken
½ cup (120 ml) barbecue sauce
1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup (100 g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup (75 g) thinly sliced red onion
¼ cup (40 g) sliced red bell pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons (8 g) chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Brush flatbreads with olive oil.

  • Toss chicken with barbecue sauce.

  • Layer sauce, mozzarella, chicken, cheddar, and vegetables on flatbread.

  • Bake 10–12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is crisp.

  • Rest briefly, garnish with cilantro, slice, and serve.

Notes

Do not overload with sauce to maintain crisp texture. Broil briefly for extra browning. Reheat in oven for best results.
