A quick and flavorful flatbread topped with tender BBQ chicken, melted cheese, and fresh toppings, baked to crispy perfection.
2 flatbreads (9–10 inches / 23–25 cm)
1 ½ cups (225 g) cooked shredded chicken
½ cup (120 ml) barbecue sauce
1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup (100 g) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
½ cup (75 g) thinly sliced red onion
¼ cup (40 g) sliced red bell pepper (optional)
2 tablespoons (8 g) chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Brush flatbreads with olive oil.
Toss chicken with barbecue sauce.
Layer sauce, mozzarella, chicken, cheddar, and vegetables on flatbread.
Bake 10–12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is crisp.
Rest briefly, garnish with cilantro, slice, and serve.
